New SHE box portal was launched on 29^th August 2024 by the Ministry of women and child development which is centralized platform is designed to create a repository of information related to Internal Committee (IC) and Local Committee (LC) established across the country and to streamline the registration and monitoring of complaints related to sexual harassment in the workplace

• A unique feature to allow submission of complaints directly to the concerned IC or LC that will be chosen by the complainants.
• Reduced delays and human interference in the complaint management system.
• Portal to be fully functional once all the Ministries/ Departments of Central Government, States/ UTs and the private sector update the information of their respective IC/ LC.
• Initially on-board the details of nodal officers and ICs of all Central Ministries/ Departments by October 2024.

PROCESS OF REGISTRATION OF POSH COMMITTEE AND WORKPLACES

1.Visit the Official Portal
Visit the Government of India’s SHe-Box portal at https://shebox.wcd.gov.in.

2.Select Appropriate Registration Category
On the homepage, choose the relevant option such as “Private Head Office Registration” or the applicable category based on the nature of the organisation.

3.Designate and register a Nodal Officer
Designate a Nodal Officer (generally an HR Head or senior management representative) who will act as the authorised point of contact for the organisation on the portal.

4.Provide Organisation Details
Enter complete organisational information including:

-Name of the organisation

-Registered address

-Contact details

-PAN/GST details (where applicable)

5. Enter Nodal Officer Information
Furnish details of the Nodal Officer, such as:

-Name and designation

-Official email address

-Mobile number

-Office address

6.Submit the Registration Application
Review all entered information carefully and submit the registration form for verification. Attachments to be uploaded with form is  GST certificate, Certificate of incorporation, PAN.

7.Receive Login Credentials
Upon successful verification, the organisation will receive login credentials on the registered email address from the back office.

8.Log In to the SHe-Box Portal
Use the credentials provided to access the organisation’s dashboard on the portal. After login reset your password.

9.Register Internal Committee (IC) Details
Under the relevant section, enter complete details of the Internal Committee constituted under the PoSH Act, including:

-Presiding Officer

-Internal Members and External Member

-Contact details and designations of all members

10. Register Workplace Locations
Add details of all workplace locations or branches to ensure proper mapping of complaints to the appropriate Internal Committee.
